Meadowlands Golf Club
Meadowlands Golf Club in Calabash, N.C., just a short drive from Myrtle Beach, takes golfers on a trip back in time and place – during a simpler time in the North Carolina countryside.
Surrounded by old-growth forests and pristine lakes, this farmland was converted to a top-notch golf course without losing its down-home appeal. The scenic vistas are worth a sight-seeing visit, but you will want to bring your clubs.
Honored as one of the “Top Ten Best New Courses” by North Carolina Magazine, this Willard Byrd design was sculpted from the natural setting to be as charming as it is challenging.
Meadowlands earned a place on the “Top 100 Women-Friendly Courses” by Golf For Women magazine. It is located less than a mile from its sister course, Farmstead, with discounts available for playing both.

All staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Time of year with storms made conditions wet. Understandable.
Very nice day. Great pace. Would highly recommend to anyone. To lengthen the 6,000 yrds we played blues on 3's and 5's.
Course was demanding!! A lot of water and trees but the fairways were generous and fair. We played the blues on the 3's and 5's to be somewhere around 6,300 yards. Impressed with the challenge. Good time had by all. Great pace of play..
This my fourth time playing Meadowlands. The course was in good condition, I have always enjoyed my time at Meadowlands. I plan on coming back.
We play it every year. This year it was an add on before starting our full golf package.
Shop books groups 8 minutes apart. By 11:00, groups are running 15 minutes behind, just trying to get the groups to clear the first fairway.
Our group quit after 5 hours with two holes left to play.
Marshall shrugged that the course was crammed and no group was more than two swings behind another!
