Good golf course good help etc. Pro shop clean. Played Jan & Feb.2017.
They have put more $$ in it.
Would have liked to know the condition of the fairways and greens prior to play
I'll NEVER play this course again. First of all, the course is extremely narrow. A good portion of the trouble is hidden....water directly behind bunkers, water in depressions that you can't see, marshes, extremely small and short landing areas...all of this in a Forest setting that has trees as a boundary on every hole. That coupled with the fact that there were swarms of mosquitoes and gnats hassling us during the entire round. Topped off with the fact that they only had 8 ounce cups in the bar and NO cart girl made this an unenjoyable day. With all of the great golf in the MB area, I suggest you go to another course.
It was an excellent course which all the guys liked. The guys advised they would like to play it when it was dry otherwise they had a great time.
holes 9 and 18 are quite weak but most of the holes are strong this course has come a long ways in the past 3 years.
The course was in excellent shape, but was cart paths only for 9 holes due to morning rain. The conditions except sand traps were great. A course I will include in my trips to Myrtle Beach.
