About the course
Why golfers play Long Bay Golf Club
Long Bay Golf Club in Longs, SC is a Jack Nicklaus signature design from 1989 among marsh and mature pines on the quiet western side of the Grand Strand. At 7,025 yards with a slope of 140 and a course rating of 74.3 it is a stern test for low handicaps, with waste bunkers and water punishing loose tee shots, while forward tees keep it fair for mid handicappers. The island green par 3 13th and the island fairway par 4 10th are the signature holes. It is the big name round away from the beach on a golf package and pairs well with Diamondback nearby.
