"We played The Grand Dunes last Friday. The course was in great shape, the greens were in very nice shape, but the pace of play was slow. They needed more marshals on the course to make some of the groups play faster."

The course was in great shape. The greens had been punched the week before and were in pretty good condition.
From tee to green was in very good shape. The staff was very friendly and Bradley the cart man was up to date on the course.
We really enjoyed playing here and WILL play here again, when we return in Sept.

Course was very green with lush fairways and tee boxes. Greens were rolling fairly smooth and only a few bumps but only because of a full day of play. Would recommend to any golfer looking for a challenge with beautiful views of Intercoastal Waterway.

So disappointed!!! Took a client out to play this track for the first time as I’ve played it several times and it’s always been one of my favorites, but not this time!

As usual, the course layout and pace of play was good, but the greens were in horrible shape. The back 9 especially as we felt like we were putting on late afternoon po anna!!! The ball just immediately bounced up in the air as soon as the putter struck it and from there it was just a hit and hope game.

I understand a course can’t be perfect every time, but what really upsets me is that I called the pro shop earlier in the week and asked about the course conditions (Especially the greens) and they said “perfect”. No reason to doubt them, but this week far from it. For the price I expect a little more honesty and a hell of a lot better greens. Just be honest with us golfers up front as we understand if a course needs time for certain areas to heal & come in.

Great course in great condition

Grand Dunes was such an experience! We were all ready to call it quits when we saw people on Jet Ski's but we survived and played on the course won that day. Til next time!

The course has a creative layout with a great variety of tees. Four holes are cut along the Intercoastal Waterway which provides the "wow factor." Hole 14 is one of the best par 3s in Myrtle Beach. Beautiful houses around the course add to experience. The course suffered some winter burnout on the greens, but the course provided other means to make up for that fact. The greens that had no damage were perfect.The staff was very friendly. This course is a must play.

This is a great great course to play. Better have your putting game in shape cause these greens are beautiful and fast. Fairways and tee boxes were excellent. Employees are top notch. Attend to your every need. If you are looking for a top golf course to play, this is it.

After playing this course last year on our annual golf trip, we were looking forward to playing this course again. The staff as always was exceptional. The tee boxes and fairways were in ok shape, the majority of the greens were in terrible condition leaving us disappointed. Until the grounds crew can get the greens back into shape, I would avoid playing here.
