MyrtlebeachGolf.com has purchased the MyrtlebeachTourism.com travel site. The acquisition will give MyrtlebeachGolf.com, a TravelGolf.com publication, a new publication dedicated to entertainment, travel, golf packages and lodging. The site will be updated weekly with golf and food reviews for the Myrtle Beach area. The expected launch date is May 9, 2000. MyrtlebeachGolf.com purchased the new site from No Borders Internet and will also inherit all existing content. The site was purchased for an undisclosed amount and future considerations. "This was a great opportunity for us to expand beyond golf in the Grand Strand and provide our readers with information on the true flavor of The Grand Strand," said Nancy Foster, TravelGolf.com operations manager.
