This course is magnificent. I have heard so many great details about River's Edge GC; I made the trip from Washington, DC just for a round. This is a hidden gem about 30 miles outside of the Myrtle Beach chaos. The conditions are outstanding, holes very challenging, and to-die-for views. The surrounding community seemed to be very well kept, with gorgeous homes and pristine landscapes. I am very impressed with the golf staff as they were tremendously curious and offered many tips prior to my outing. I recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenge. Good luck!

I played Rivers Edge on 10/13/07 a part of a group of 24. The course was in terrible shape. The staff claimed that they had watered the greens with brackish water, causing the grass to die. As a result the greens were 30% sand to make up for dead grass. The tees were almost as bad. Pro shop staff were unsympathetic and offered no compensation. We've played here twice before and had no such problems, but we won't be back!

LARGE IT IS NECESSARY FOR US TO SPLIT TEES. MY GROUP GETS VERY UNHAPPY HAVING TO WAIT FOR 1-1/2 HOURS FOR THE LAST GROUP TO COME IN..THEN FIGURE SCORES..DO AWARDS THEN DRIVE BACK TO SOUTH MYRTLE. WE ARE MAKING OUR 17TH TRIP TO MYRTLE AND RIVER'S EDGE IS ON THE NEW FAVORITES. BUT SPLIT TEES ARE A MUST FOR US. PLEASE HELP US OUT. PLEASE CONTACT M.B. GOLF WIZARD AND OFFER SPLIT TEES FOR US THAT DAY. GREATLY APPRECIATED...
