Pawleys Plantation lived up to our every expectation...and then some. It was a very fair Nicklaus course, with wonderful greens. The staff was polite and gave some good on-course advice for playing the tricky 10th. We will be back.

I must remark about the course review recently for Pawley's Plantation. As a visitor Myrtle Beach for the past 28 years with 8 golfers we have had the opportunity to play Pawley's 3 times. Each time we vote on playing the various courses again and Pawley's always loses. The course is just not that good when competing with top notch courses in the area like Caldonia, True Blue, even Blackmoor (where you get treated much beter than the 'uppity folks' at Pawley's (after all it is a Nicklaus course). I'll spend my money up North on Tiger Eye, Glen Donach, Barefoot and other quality courses.
