Deer Track Plantation Resort. November 16, 2007, 7:45 pm

Just returned from Myrtle Beach SC. and had a good time. Lots to do lots to see. Golf was great. Whispering Pines was not up to the same standards as in 2001 but Indingo was great. Greens were green and fairways in superb shape. Course is challenging and greens are fast. I played Island Green but very slow play because of the no carts on fairways. Big disappointment in the Deer Track Plantation resort. The golf course is closed due to a dispute between a developer who has purchased the golf course with the intention of building condos. Apparently the township has denied the developer building permits.
Hope the golf course get re-opened for my next visit. The Plantation Resort itself is very nice and the people at the aquatic centre were great and helpful. Good security and always on patrol and you see them everywhere.
Need something, just call the office and you get it within minutes.
Units were clean and comfortable.
Great job Deer Track Plantation Resort.

Will be staying first two weeks of November as a time share at Deer Track.
I've heard good things and expect to play a lot of golf.
Groom the way. Here I come.
