PineHills Course at Myrtlewood Golf Club in Myrtle Beach
The PineHills Course at Myrtlewood Golf Club is an often-overlooked Grand Strand golf course. Its sister Palmetto Course draws most of the attention at Myrtlewood, with its holes along the Intracoastal Waterway. PineHills has its share of water, but it's a more traditional, tree-filled track.
The first Arthur Hills project in Myrtle Beach, PineHills has more history than most of its neighbors. Originally called The Pines, it was built in 1966 and redesigned by Hills in 1993. It's more old-school than many Myrtle Beach designs - there aren't a lot of showy tricks here. There are, however, a number of condos.
