Readers Respond to Delta Controversy: "Never Fly Delta Again!"

Hi Shane,

I just read your article regarding Delta's bad service, and I've had the same experience. I had a group of 12 golfers go to Myrtle Beach in February of this year and all of our bags didn't show up with us. I asked the Delta counter how they could lose all our bags, and their response was that the planes aren't big enough to carry all the larger bags.

They were referring to larger hard cases which I own. I find it funny that they want to require the hard cases which take up a bit more space, when they don't have any space anyway. Anyway, the poor people at the counter took the brunt of everyones sour mood. But according to the delta agents, the main office have been informed of the problem, but they chose to continue to screw up golf vacations.

The irony of it all was the the round trip price of our tickets was $140 and the average refund each golfer got was $250 in addition to golf club rentals.

This explains some of their losses.....
