• Paul - This course has a beautiful clubhouse and the layout of the holes is very good. Unfortunitaly the condition of the course is just fair at best. Ten years ago this course was in pristine condition, today it seems like a facility that just doesn't have the money to keep the course in top shape. - 05/13/2013 - 6


• Scott - Thistle has a bunch of potential - from the great clubhouse and staff to a challenging course that offers several risk-reward holes that challenge you. The issue is the course is not in great shape - the tee boxes were lacking grass, the fairways had some dead spots and the greens were OK. The course needs a little love and then it would be a must play. - 05/01/2013 - 7


• Bob - PLAYED HERE ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO. A FEW SPOTTED FAIRWAYS THAT NEED ATTENTION BUT NOTHING CRAZY. ALL 27 HOLES ARE DIFFERENT. THERE ARE SOME GREAT CARRIES OVER WATER IF YOU DECIDE TO GO THAT WAY. DIDN'T GO TO MYRTLE TO "LAY UP" RISK LOSING THE BALL IT'S WORTH THE REWARD.PLAYED HERE ON 4/26/2013 - 05/01/2013 - 10

• Brian (Chapel Hill, NC) - For the price, this course was not close to worth it. Very disappointing. Fairways were in terrible condition. Would not consider playing there again at that price. • Ron - Walked in was impressed with the club house. Everything was downhilll from there. Tee boxes were bad. Grass clippings were left on some of the tees ( in some places about a half inch. In some of the fairways, I would have to walk 20 feet to fine some grass. The Stewart fairways were the worse. The other nine's were better but still not good. Greens were acceptable but not up to the price we paid. The golf package charged us $137. The club charged $59 if you were a walk in. Two former member that played through our group were shocked at the amount we paid. The course design was very good. - 04/17/2013 - 5


• Nick - Buyer Beware!!! Our group hated this golf course due to the playing conditions. Greens are good but the other parts of the course is not up to par for the money you pay to play. After playing King's North the day prior this course was not even close when it comes aestetics and being groomed. We will not play again!! We also played Aberdeen, Wild Wing, King's North, and West @ MBN with Thistle being the worst. Really nice clubhouse though! - 04/16/2013 - 9
