You’ll be hooked on the challenge of Long Bay Club – making your next tee time after the 18th hole.

Long Bay Club in Longs, S.C., is known to be formidable, but also magnificently memorable, as it’s ranked amidst the top courses in the state time and again, and included among Golf Digest’s “Places to Play,” with 4.5 stars.

It’s a Jack Nicklaus signature course, but anything but typical, measuring in at 7,021 yards and a par 72, and hand-carved with deep bunkers, smaller Bermuda grass greens, waste areas, water hazards, man-made mounds, a demanding 137 slope from the back tees and deceiving par-3s. One of the most challenging is Hole No. 10, at 353 yards and ominous horseshoe-shaped bunker.

Long Bay’s pretty clubhouse will be a welcoming sight after this course, complete with pro shop, grill and practice area – to brush up on skills for your next visit.
