The semi-private facility in North Myrtle Beach is set amidst the backdrop of the exclusive Barefoot Resort and surrounded by The Dye Estates, a private, gated community.

Although the course can be unforgiving, players of all abilities should be able to meet the challenges embedded within the par 72, 7,343-yard layout when played from the right tees. Dye utilizes native grasses; fairways are GN-1 Bermuda grass, a hybrid developed by Greg Norman Turf; approaches are Tifdwarf Bermudagrass; greens are L-93 Bentgrass and roughs are seeded with Centipede and Zoysia grasses.

The Dye Course at Barefoot Resort and Golf is certainly turning heads nationally, listed among the Best Courses You Can Play by the South Carolina golf course ratings panel, ranked No. 99 among Golf Digest’s America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses in 2009 and ranked No. 10 among Golf Digest’s Top 50 Courses of Myrtle Beach in 2005.
