Myrtlewood Golf Club's Palmetto Course, located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, is one of two championship layouts that stretch through pine forests and along the Intracoastal Waterway.

The Palmetto Course's traditional design has made it a popular choice for more than two decades, featuring gently sloping fairways and large, undulating greens separated by an array of water hazards and strategically placed bunkers.

The Palmetto Course offers well-manicured tif-dwarf Bermuda grass greens and fairways surrounded by scenic vistas of the Waterway and surprisingly serene woodlands that make it hard to believe you are playing so near downtown Myrtle Beach.

Dana - Our round today took over FIVE hours. The four foursomes from Georgia that were ahead of us each had at least one hole open between them. We never saw the course Marshall until we called the proshop to complain. The Marshall was unwilling to address the groups to speed up play. Both the proshop and Marshall each blamed the corporate office for overbooking tee times. - 05/20/2013 - 6

Christopher (Lakeville, MA) - Very scenic course along the canal. The course was relatively open which made it quite forgiving, but with plenty of water to lose your ball in. The course was well marked out with distances to the pin up until 75 yards. - 05/01/2013 - 9
