Black Bear Golf Course a Myrtle Beach classic

Friday February 8, 2008 | 12:13:16 125 words

People ask me all the time to give them tips on what golf courses to include on their Myrtle Beach golf package. Really, they ask all the time. And one course I always recommend is Black Bear Golf Course. When you combine challenging play with amazing scenery, it’s hard to pass up a classic run like this.

Black Bear is a Tom Jackson masterpiece that features a whopping 23 lakes to make your day even more challenging. And the 137 slope rating from the tips is proof enough that this is a course that will challenge all level of players.
