Get your own exotic golf stories in Myrtle Beach

We talk a lot about the opportunities for golfers in the Grand Strand here at Myrtle Beach Insider. Of course, the real fun is when the golfing begins, which is why Myrtle Beach creates some of the most exotic golf stories you’ve ever heard.

Because with more than 100 golf courses, busy all year long, there’s a lot of golf happening here. And golfers have plenty of stories to tell. From holes in one to near misses, to crazy shots, to animals interrupting the game and more, you’ll have memories to last a lifetime at Myrtle Beach.

Here’s a little piece of advice. If you want to hear some hilarious golf stories, talk to a caddie. Seriously, these folks have seen it all and will share some great stuff if you just ask. Just one more thing to remember when getting ready to book a Myrtle Beach golf package.

I live in Arizona, originally from the Midwest and am not a big fan of desert golf. So it was a real treat for me to travel to Myrtle Beach with a group of 31 other golfers. We stayed in two- 8 bedroom condos that were side by side within sight of the beach in N. Myrtle and it was quite the place. Lots of room, nice big kitchens, game rooms, big screen tv's and a whole lot more. You won't see anything like that in Scottsdale! Played a mix of links and traditional courses that were a lot of fun, trees, creeks, lakes and just fun layouts. We went in early April and the weather was great the whole week. I would go again in a heartbeat!
