MB Direct Air's early success attributed to a strong golf market in Niagara and NY

Here’s something interesting - total rounds are down on the Grand Strand, yet Myrtle Beach golf course owners are happy as could be. What gives? Well, it turns out that with a few less golf courses, and with Myrtle Beach Direct Air & Tours bringing in eager golfers from such locations as Niagara and New York City, the Grand Strand golf scene continues to bloom.

“All is good in the Myrtle Beach golf community,” Bob Swezey, executive vice president of Burroughs & Chapin Co.’s resorts division told Myrtle Beach Online recently. “Several years in a row our activity is up, revenue is up, packaging is up. When supply is down and demand remains relatively stagnant, everybody is going to get more rounds. It’s a correction for the industry. It’s a good thing.”

And it could be a good thing for you, too. Face it, Myrtle Beach Direct Air & Tours has helped reshape the Grand Strand golf industry once again, and golfers from all around the nation continue to enjoy what Myrtle Beach has to offer.

So keep that in mind if you hear that “total rounds are down.” Because when it comes to golf in Myrtle Beach, the numbers don’t always tell the whole story.

Avoid Myrtle Beach Direct Air like the plaque. If you run into any problems management will not follow through with what they promise you and you will not be given any written documents for you to hold them accountable.

We just returned from a flight from Columbus to M.B. for a visit to our Grandson. We are no longer able to drive down due to age and health.
The flight was wonderful and we would not have been out of Ohio by car in the time it took to fly. Congratulations to whomever had the foresight to provide the service. Thank you, thank you. We hope to be able to do it again, soon. The Grandson will have a little grandson[ great] for us in February and we will be anxious to see him..
