The Witch Golf Links: A Myrtle Beach golfer's review

The Myrtle Beach Insider officially agrees with writer Tim McDonald’s assessment of the Witch Golf Links. This is a golf course that has proven itself to be much more than just one of the “undiscovered gems” of the Grand Strand.

The Witch may not give you stunning ocean views, but it makes up for it by giving players an eclectic and challenging round of golf. Tree-lined fairways and excellent condition are par for the course at the Witch, as is some cameo appearances by wild life.

“The Witch makes its way nonchalantly through woods dark and deep, with ominous sounds emanating from the swamp, like the full-throated throb of the male bullfrog in heat,” wrote McDonald for MyrtleBeachGolf.com. “On one recent round alone, my group spotted five alligators, one of them an eight-footer, an eagle and all sorts of other critters.”
