Charlie Rymer a great addition for Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday
The Grand Strand got a great boost this year, when Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday announced that former PGA Tour player and ESPN golf commentator Charlie Rymer would be Myrtle Beach’s national spokesperson.
The deal has made Rymer a busy man, as he has served as a host of “Links Illustrated,” the syndicated golf instruction television show hosted in Myrtle Beach. That’s by no means all, however. Rymer also contributes custom video content for the GolfHoliday.com site, conducted interviews at events and written a monthly column called “The Rymer Report” that appears exclusively on the Golf Holiday Web site.
At just 39, Rymer has already put together an impressive resume, including playing 73 times on the PGA Tour and working with ESPN.
“We’re excited to have Charlie Rymer as our Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Spokesperson in 2007,” said Bill Golden, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday vice president. “His experience playing on Tour and working as a commentator on ESPN will be an asset for us. After meeting with Charlie several times, the first word that comes to mind is fun. Charlie will do a great job projecting what the Myrtle Beach golf experience is all about.”
